please take a look at http://macrodiver.com/dive-sites

the image should be full width 940px by 500 something but it is being resized much smaller, 550 by 418. When I look at the advanced options of the image it is the full size. I don’t understand why it’s being scaled smaller.

It’ll either be your CSS or the sizes are being hardcoded into your site. The natural size is being overridden by something and it’ll be one of those two things.

Your image is being resized somewhere, as this is the HTML output:

Also try turning off Proton, part of the JetPack plugin and go from there.

Your logo is being squeezed by about 10px too, by the way.

    thanks

I have a full width page template that I’m using for that page and nowhere in that is there an image attribute. I don’t see anywhere in my css either an image resize. img is set to 100%.

it appears i can not deactivate photon. that could very well be the problem because if i remember correctly the image was fine before i activated that feature.

all right…just took forever for the deactivate button to show up. that was the problem!

    thanks for the help
