    Hi all.
Maybe you could help me with my problem. I run the website for our school http://www.stfranciscollege-rochestown.ie using bloglife theme.

I use the Portfolio Slideshow plugin to display photos as slideshows on lots of different pages. However, my problem is that the images vary in size so as the slideshows scroll through, the size changes and pushes the text below them down or up the screen. Take a look at my homepage when the slideshow gets to slide 3 and 4.

Can anyone tell me how to resize all my images as one bulk action rather than resizing each one individually. This would allow my slideshows to be much sleeker looking and not effect the text below them.

    Thanks.
    Denis

  • Hi Denis,
    This plugin may help: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/additional-image-sizes-zui

It will allow you to register a new image size in WordPress, resize all of your existing images, and automatically resize any new images as you upload them.

One you’ve registered a new image size with the plugin, it will be available in the “size” dropdown menu in the slideshow plugin settings.

I also have to mention that Portfolio Slideshow Pro includes resizing on the fly. If you do the shortcode like this: [portfolio_slideshow height=500], all the images will automatically be the same height, with no extra work or additional plugins.

    Cheers,
    Dalton
