Image References on Server Not Working

    I’m trying to install social icons for a client, as well as a button and some other items. I need to reference their locations in the sidebar widgets, however when I place the images on the server and try to type their links in the address bar – nothing shows up.

    I’ve saved the images to the public-html folder, the site’s actual directory, and various other folders. The images that are referenced within the layout show up fine. It’s the images that look like:
