I have a photography blog with some posts that are galleries and some that are single images. I’d like the single image posts to just display the image without having to insert a gallery. Previously I had done this by setting a feature image, and that displayed. Is there a way to do this with Illustratr, or do I have to go back and edit all of my posts to insert the image into it?

@alliphd Could you please provide a link to your site running Illustratr so I can get a better understanding of the issue? Are you looking for a post’s featured image to be always displayed on the single post view?

For image post types, I’d like the image to display on the single post view and on the main page.

I actually can’t tell where, if anywhere, the featured images are used at all.

Hi @alliphd, standard posts, with a featured image will show the featured image on the single post page and on the Posts (blog) page. Posts set to Gallery Post Type do not show a featured image on the single post page, even if one is set.
