Image options?

Is it possible to only have a featured image show up when the article that is being posted by the feed to post setting actually comes with a photo. I do not want a default category photo, so id prefer for only the title and content to be displayed if no photo exists in the article thats being fed to my blog. Is there a way to accomplish this?
