Image on Excerpt

    Hi. I am using the Olsen Light theme and I want my front page to show a picture of the post and an excerpt of the post, How do I do that?Kindly thanks

    Hi there, you need to create a post with a featured image applied like described here

    and finally navigate to Appearance->Customize->Layout Options and check Display the excerpt instead of the content.

    Is it possible to use an excerpt with an image embedded in the post, but NOT a featured image? Like an image in the first paragraph whose text wraps around?

    Also, excerpts seem to be stripping out paragraph returns. Paragraphs are there on a post’s page, but an excerpt on the main page is just one big blob…
