Image not really replaced?

    I replaced an image and on the preview in the plugin it shows the image replaced, but on the site it is showing the old unchanged image.

    There was a post with the same issue last year that didn’t get a reply and mine is the same issue.

    Cleared cache so it’s not a cache issue.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Heather,

    Have you directly accessed the image URL and did a refresh and you did not see the new file? Sometimes the cache can be so persistent, that clearing with a plugin does not clear the browser-stored file.

    Yes I have and it has not been updated. Tried replacing the image about 6 times now and it says it has each time but it clearly hasn’t.

    Even looked at it in file manager on the server. The image has not been replaced.

    As I mentioned, I cleared the cache already and have done that multiple times. Just cleared the cache again and still happening.

    The image is not really being replaced even though it claims it has.
