  • The image file that you’re trying to display is called “.jpg”. That’s it. Maybe check the text widget used to display those images.

    thanks fo the reply,the images are not part of the widgets i think they are built into the theme

    Go to Appearance –> Widgets. Look at the top widget in your Sidebar, it’s a text widget. The three images are displayed in there. Correct the wrongly provided file path in there.

    i have done this and the only thing in there is a widget with the text ‘follow me’ and the twitter feed widget.

    there are no images in there like i said i think the social media icons are built into the theme

    Is the follow me a shortcode? Is it wrapped in square brackets?

    no it is the standard text widget taken from the widget area in wordpress and i have written in it ‘follow me’

    Time to speak to your developer or theme designer then. It’s possible that the code used to display those images and links is hard coded into the theme templates. The only way to find that out is by having access to the templates themselves.
