    For an Image Media Magic Field doing a “Set Image” using the “From URL” tab clicking the “Insert into Post” button does nothing. The image URL is valid since a green check mark is displayed before it. I have monitored the network traffic and no GET/POST request is sent from the browser. I have verified this error on both the WordPress version 2.1 and the GitHub version 2.0.1 (downloaded on Jan 9, 2013, isn’t the version number wrong on the GitHub version?) However, the “Media Library” tab is working. Also should not the button label be “Insert into Field” instead of “Insert into Post”?

    is correct, I did not know that the new media upload pictures had this option, I need to investigate how to use it

    I also noticed that the “Media Library” tab is working in the WordPress version but broken in the GitHub version. The problem seems to be that the WordPress version displays the “…/wp-admin/media-upload.php?…” page in an iframe hosted by an overlaid div whereas the GitHub version loads a new page and consequently the global window.mf_field_id is undefined.

    the github version work fine.

    Magic Fields unfortunately can not make use of the option “from URL” that WP never saves the image in the library, Magic Fields uses the attachmentID, there is no way of knowing that image is being used

    I just checked out the latest github version and “Media Library” tab is now working. The line added to function mf_use_new_image_gallery()

    if (typeof wp === ‘undefined’ || typeof wp.media === ‘undefined’) return;

    I think fixed the problem.
