    Hi

Found a small strange problem today. Have not the skill to find out the cause.

The head logo and another image was not loading in Google Chrome desktop browser for some reson.

It looked alright in Edge and Firefox and on the mobile Chrome browswer.

I tested to turn of the image option in Autoptimize: “Optimize images on the fly and serve them from Shortpixel’s global CDN.”

And now everything looks alright again.

Just wanted to report this if others have the same problem.

Google Chrome Version 93.0.4577.63 (64 bit)
    Wordpress 5.8
    AstraVersion: 3.6.8
    Elementor Free Version 3.4.3
    Autoptimize Version 2.9.2
    Shortpixel free account

so 2 images were not loading, the others were? if you can share some more (URL’s of the images that were not loading), I’ll be happy to look into this for you 🙂

It was the 2 logo images on top of this page that was not loaded. I now deleted cashe so now is the new setting without “Optimize images on the fly and serve them from Shortpixel’s global CDN.” Sorry I dont know the coding behind.

OK, can you try if adding GMK_logo to the optimization exclusions list (and re-enabling “optimize images” obviously) works?

    Now I tested your suggestion.

First I turned on “optimize images” again and direct the logo images dissapered in Chrome.

Then I added GMK_logo to the optimization exclusions list and the images direct showed up in Chrome as expected.

Thanks for the hint and that you investigating this. Please let me know if I can add any more data for yoo.

PS! I turned “optimize images” off again since I dont know whats causing this and dont “trust” the option 🙂

Well, that’s what the exclusion field is for; adding images that for one reason or another should not be optimized (in your case the 2 versions of the logo) 🙂
