I am using the spacious theme on WordPress 3.9…Im trying to put 3 images next to each other that each have a link to a social media account. I have one set to alignleft the others aligncenter and alignright and instead of being next to each other horizontally they are next to each other diagonally. Does anyone know how to put them horizontally next to each other?

PS. Using CSS to position:absolute them does work except then when the site is accessed by laptop or phone the images are all over the place.

    Got any idead?

    Hi there,

Currently your images are each in their own paragraph, so floating them won’t help. You’ll need to get them on the same line first. And to be honest, you shouldn’t have to float them – try just inserting them without any alignment, then center the paragraph and add some margin if needed to space them nicely. 🙂

    hope that helps,

I’m trying to do this as well, if I insert picture and center the paragraph and try and put the next picture next to it, it just attaches itself to the picture and goes underneath?

Slobodan Manic posted this on my post and it was exactly what I was looking for, maybe it will help you.

If you’re OK with using native galleries, maybe this plugin can help:

    Heya,
So, if you get them in a line and then just use the align paragraph button from the main tool bar, that should get them centered on the page (your cursor just needs to be placed on that line). If you want to space them out a bit you’ll either need to add a bit of css to your theme, or you might try a plugin like this one:

    hope that helps!
