Image issue I keep having, no one else notices..multisite?

I am having issues

In the backend, when editing a post, I am trying to remove an image from being featured. But if I save it the image always returns, sometimes another image. If I click remove image, it removes if I do not save the post. But I save and see another image come up featured after I removed.

This is tried on fresh clean install.

I am also having other issues as well, possibly related to multisite?

Profiles, etc but only the question above for here. After searching and posting before in the forum I realize this may be a multisite issue, as site 3 image does show up on site 2, this is testing with creating and editing Pages
