Hi @nfwro,
I’ve now been sent a copy of the email and the image does not display, just a placeholder and the alternative text. On looking in the Editor, the image is now replaced by a broken link image, even though the URL to the image is correct.
I’m sorry to hear about this problem. May I ask you some questions in order to help you further?
1) If you access the direct image URL, are you able to see the image properly? Even if you try to access it in Incognito mode?
2) Are you using any 3rd-party plugins that could be affecting how your images are displayed (to optimize it, regenerate it, protect it, etc)?
3) I would suggest you go to the Settings menu > Permalinks page and click on the Save Changes button. This will ensure your links are working.
Please let us know!

Hi
Thank you for your reply.
It happened again this week. The previews I sent to myself and one other were fine, but when I sent the email out, all the images but one, were missing.
To answer your questions:
1) URLs, in yesterdays email, the top image was already in the media library, the other three were uploaded as I created the email. I think this is the key. The three that were uploaded as I created the email have been uploaded into an extra folder on the server with the name /uploads/2021/09/29/save-the-date-christmas-2021/christmas-holly-berries.jpg. But, looking at the email sent to myself as part of the mailing, the image is referenced as /uploads/2021/09/christmas-holly-berries.jpg, so of course they are not showing.
2) I don’t run many 3rd Party plugins, an image replacer and a lightbox are the only ones that affect images, but I did have an antiquated Uploads folder one still active that changes the uploads subfolders to yyyy/mm/post-slug for posts based on the post’s date rather than the current date, and page-slug/subpage-slug for static pages based on the page’s position in the hierarchy. I’ve removed that and will test to see if this happens again without it running.
3) I have save Permalinks.
I will advise after testing.
Many thanks
Hi there @nfwro 👋🏽
It seems like this issue could be related to what you mention here:
but I did have an antiquated Uploads folder one still active that changes the uploads subfolders to yyyy/mm/post-slug for posts based on the post’s date rather than the current date, and page-slug/subpage-slug for static pages based on the page’s position in the hierarchy.
Please keep us posted with your next test results, we’ll be glad to keep troubleshooting this issue with you.
Cheers!

Hi again
I’ve removed the Uploads plugin and have now successfully sent a number of emails using images uploaded through the MailPoet interface, so it looks like ot was the culprit. Lesson learned!!!
Thank you
