Image blink while loading homepage

Hi. I’m having an issue when the homepage of my website is first opened. As soon as the page loads, there’s a blink, or something like that, that goes away quickly but is still noticable. I think it has to do with the “post slideshow” that is on top of the posts. Either way, I would like to keep that post slideshow but don’t want that blink when the homepage is loaded. Can that be fixed? Thanks!
