• WordPress will not let me post a photo it’s original size!
I uploaded a photo, leftclicked on it in the upload section made sure it was on “Using Original”, dragged it into the post section, clicked on the Edit HTML Source button, made sure the file was NOT the automatically created thumbnail version, and posted it. It appeared as a thumbnail! Then, I tried the same thing, except this time, in the Edit HTML Source window, and where it said <img width=”128″ height=”96, I typed in the real dimensions of 500 x375. It just stretched it all out and pixellated it. I can’t figure this out and its soooooo frustrating, and I can’t find an answer in the support forums. Can someone please, please help? Thank you.

  • You’re using WordPress 2.0 right?

Make sure it’s set to “using original” and then set it to “linked to 0riginal”. Then insert the image with “send to editor. Now make sure that the image the link is pointing to is the same as the image the itself. Then, change the height and width to the actual height and width of the image, and delete the link code (or keep it if you want).

If it doesn’t work though, I have no clue what to do because it works for me.

The only options are “linked to image” and “linked to page”, but no “linked to original”

Sorry, I meant “linked to image”.
