Image ABOVE the nav?

I’m wondering if there’s an easy solution to inserting an image (logo) at the top of the page, above the navbar? I’m using a child theme and have been looking for a possible PHP method so i can avoid problems during future theme updates.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

If interested, i’m using the Zoo theme here. I’ve turned off the large scrolling image at the top. So just the navbar is at the top now. I can’t share a link to my version since it’s local right now.
