    Currently, I’m on a process of looking for a CMS that suit my needs. So I wonder if WordPress can achieve what I want.

    Basically the website I’m going to build is more like a news display website.

    – Displaying news
    – Displaying reviews with star display
    – Ability to add custom fields (e.g. if I want to add additional fields for a content, I can do it with the CMS)
    – Flexible theming system
    – Add comments
    – Latest X topics (Headlines display from each category)
    – Categorizing

    I’m a user from http://www.coranto.org/ btw. Coranto can achieve most of the things I mentioned above however I want to try out something new.

    Yeah , WordPress is exactly the thing for you . It can do all that you mentioned above . And the latest version is pretty awesome .

    Thank you for replying, since the things I mentioned can be done. I’ll spend some times learning and researching on WP.

    Do you mind give me a short list on what extension/addon/plugin should I use in order to achieve them? Or all of them features mentioned are built-in already?
