Any updates so far? Still having the same issues as mentioned above.
Thanks for the updates!
We haven’t identified a problem with the plugin, or with the Graph API (the API that powers it, on the FB end of things.)
We have noticed several users who are experiencing issues with long API responses — the software doesn’t handle that well, currently, and can lead to issues where the Token isn’t generated and we receive messages such as listed in the above thread. This is most clearly seen in cases where the plugin works in a dev site and not on a live site, or vice versa.
Please stay tuned!
Best,
Richard
One more thing to report. It seems that the plugin is making contact with Facebook, because the like button and the text “892 people like this. Sign Up to see what your friends like”. Appears above where the feed should be. It’s obviously getting the number of likes from FB, just not the posts. http://www.fairchicago.org
Hi guys,
same for me here. All went wrong after WP and plugin update.
The header with the number of likes is displaying correct, but no content.
WP verion 4.1–nl_NL
IK facebookfeed version 2.9.1
I so staying tuned 🙂 I really really like it, because it makes my site more dynamic. Especially for non-facebook users.
Regards,
Wim

Hey Eric!
Sorry for any delay in this reply – I’ve been working through a ton of e-mail — I also sent this reply via e-mail, FYI.
I tested both pairs of App IDs and Secret Keys, and the two Page IDs you sent – I have been unable to reproduce the issue at all! Does the issue still persist for you?
For many instances, people’s servers time out due to various reasons, such as shared hosting or Facebook being slow. Issues such as that would appear intermittently.
We are currently updating our error reporting to better help identify at what stage issues occur, to help diagnose if that is the case for certain users.
Please let me know if that helps or if you are still have issues.
Best,
Richard
Everything works fine again. Thanks a lot!
It works too, over here… what happend, ’cause I didn’t update or change anything 🙂 ?
Many thanks!
Hi Richard,
It works for me too. Thanks very much!
Cheers,
Mike
Hey Everyone!
I’m going to mark this as resolved, as we have discovered an issue, and patched it, that is related to this. Of course, you can open a new thread if the issue persists for you.
The Graph API was timing on certain queries when a large number of items, comments, etc were being returned in the feed. Due to how the software works, we were loading more items than were sometimes displayed.
We have altered the behavior to not query as many items and, in testing, this has resolved the issues that were being reported to us.
The update has been pushed out today containing a temporary fix for this issue, and a future update will contain a more robust fix.
Thanks for all the help,
Best,
Richard
