When you say it doesn’t work, can you be clearer? As far as I can see, it works on all versions of IE from 8 up.

In your settings for the plugin, what do you have in the Notification text and Accept text fields?
what do you have in the Notification text “This site uses cookies”
and Accept text fields? “That’s fine!”
The plugin works fine with Firefox.

Okay – I’m not seeing the same in IE8 on a test site with a vanilla theme and no plugins. I’d suggest switching to Twenty Thirteen / Twenty Fourteen and disabling plugins to check where there might be a problem.

I think the solution is connected with your theme or another plugin. Like I say, this plugin works fine in IE8 on a vanilla installation.
