I am using TablePress to display tables within tabs for toggling back and forth between Metric and Imperial values to display machine specs (under the Models section in the link above).

I duplicated the first table to use for now, but for some reason the width of the first column is irregular within the first column of the Metric tab. Any css changes I have made have been applied to both tables.

Can you help me figure out why these column widths are inconsistent? I have tried using set widths, but because the design requires the row backgrounds to stretch the entire width of the site the fixed widths won’t work. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Please try unchecking the “Use DataTables” checkbox for these tables. This will simplify the HTML markup a bit, as you are not using the JS features anyways.

After that, setting column widths with CSS manually might work better.

    Regards,
    Tobias
