I was hacked big time

I had multiple sites hacked at the same time (all on the same server). This is what the content of my site was:

no files were deleted or modified but ….
until you learn how make your website secure let me tell you that the party is over and…-=- Your Site is HaCkEd By ali -=-
Has anyone else been hacked by this person and how can I stop this from happening in the future?
