    The basic problem is that comments seem to be unidirectional:
    Mastodon -> WP comments work fine
    WP -> Mastodon, comments and replies don’t show up.
    (Hubzilla doesn’t do comments either direction, but that’s likely my ineptitude)

    One possibility is that I sanitized some discrepancies, where the site name was http://www.nomdujour<dot>.net, and is now nomdujour<dot>.net LetsEncrypt and WP path + Site path were changed in settings.
    Jetpack was also installed after the changes were made, default options (I’m currently only using it for stats)

    So far I have:
    Tried disabling Jetpack. Currently re-enabled
    Disabled Friends, Nodeinfo, Webfinger (still currently disabled)
    Complete uninstall and reinstall Activitypub

    Sorry, but this feature is not implemented yet. @mediaformat works on that atm. Currently only comments from mastodon will be federated with WordPress, but not the other way around.

    Thanks. The workaround (responding with my Mastodon account) isn’t too onerous.

    The big thing is that I don’t have to drive myself crazy(er) trying to make it work 🙂
