.gz files have to be unpacked first 🙂 winzip will do it
Opened it……………..lots of info there, but nothing that stands out as to how to fix it or access it……

Don’t look at the raw logs, that’s way over a newbie’s head. There is an Error Log icon there also, and it should show you the latest 100 or so errors. Those lines of code will tell you what file(s) is(are) stinking up the pond.
But judging from that error that mentions Zend Optimizer, sounds like your web host was mucking around with PHP… 🙂
running ad aware right now and it’s got lots of crap it’s found, so it might be part of it…

that raw log seemed to show that something accessed every picture on my site in a matter of minutes too….
