I have an "OOPs Message ….

When I try to browse to http://www.mydomain.com/ I get my site with an error message that says:

This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?

It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.”

and it won’t go away unless I go to the home page. How do I fix please??? I have disabled comments and need to get rid of the search also as this is an artist website for display and contact only. Thanks for any assistance.

PS I don’t know what version of WordPress I have, I got it yesterday from GoDaddy.
