I get a 404 error for wp-admin/install.php

yeah, I just recently got wordpress. I changed the wp-config.php file with all my information, after I do that, my browser redirects me to http://www.mysite.net/wp/wp-admin/install.php, and it gives me a 404 error code.

why does it do that? I filled everything in properly.
