I cannot add comments to blog post

    I am not able to add comments to my blog. I’ve tried deleting all of my plugins but that did not work. At the bottom it says that comments are closed. I’ve checked the settings and the comments are turned on. Another problem that I’m having is when I save or publish a page or post, the spaces between my paragraphs are removed.     No, the other themes are working fine.

    Jose, I did not answer your question correctly as to whether it happens with other themes. The correct answer is yes, I have the same problem when I switch themes. When I answered your question, I thought that you meant one of my other websites.

    I am using WordPress 4.0 , since automatic update last week..I am using Thesis 1.8.2 , cannot publish comments to public blog, the dashboard says they are published but cannot be read in public forum.I think many themes are having same problem.

    I just installed a site with a different domain and it’s having the same issue. In the comments area it says, “comments are closed.” Fortunately, this does not seem to effect any of my other sites. The version is Twenty Fourteen version 1.2.

    I deleted all of my plugins, but that did not work. I also downgraded WordPress and that did not work either. The theme that I was using was not updated when I uploaded it from my computer. Once it was updated, everything appears to be working fine.
