Hello I have been working with WordPress since 2014 and over one and a half years ago I started using WP All in One to migrate my websites.
In that period I certainly did more than 150 migrations with the plugin and I never had any errors or problems.

But after updating WordPress, I request the export and always in the end it shows failure in the network.

I have already tested on two internet links that I have in my house, I have tested it in other places and it does not solve it. I’m having to use Duplicator, which I do not really like.

Is this happening to anyone, too?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi martoandre

This seems a bit strange. I can’t get to your link – could you email me at support at servmask.com and we can look in to your issue a bit further?

    Cheers

    Hello @lesleysm,
It seems like things are back to normal. I am no expert, but I have enough knowledge and I really found it very strange as well.

I did some testing, and although I made some mistakes, I had more success than failure.

Can you tell me if the connection to the internet could interfere with the time of export?

    Thank you for your attention

    Hi Martoandre

The backup itself won’t be impacted by the network speed, but the download of that backup certainly can be.

If you have having issues with getting your backup off your server by using the download button, you can use an FTP client to download it from wp-content/ai1wm-backups

You can upload the file to the same folder on your new site with FTP and press restore from backup. Whilst this is an additional step, it is useful, especially for large sites or slow internet connections, to ensure that the backup is moved easily and doesn’t get corrupted.
