    I am being hacked.
    If you look at this live link. it appears that whatever people search for is no longer there. Below is an example- before it was just images and now php tag….
    “Nothing found for Index Php Tag Tim-robbins” by searching for tim robbins marxist.
    There has been hundreds of these “nothing found” hits. Also, I have a plug-in that finds broken links. Yesterday it showed 60 some – now there are 700 broken links.
    I didn’t know what it was when it started showing up in live feed, just discovered the extent of it. It’s been going on for almost over a day and seems to be speeding up…
    below is what i got from blogsecurify.

    Please advise how I can stop whatever it is?
    Please advise how I may prevent it happening again.
    Is there any other way to restore archives without copying,deleting and repasting each post?

    Hi,
    Not sure why there is no response here. I am wondering now if i did something wrong when upgrading to 2.6, though the weird script showed up before then. Someone said the site was under a bot attack. I have no idea whether this forum can help me or if i have to talk to my host.
    Any counsel here would be appreciated.

    My site is just pages of 404s. If this forum can not help me, will someone at least let me know I am in the wrong place. I am not computer savvy and if I posed the question the wrong way, then just please just say so and direct me where i need to go.

    If this is not the right forum for this problem, please advise. The lack of response is frustrating. I realize, and appreciate, that all are volunteers. But just a suggestion as to where to go for a solution would be a help.
    I don’t know how to rightly define the fact that, aside from my front page, any attempt to go in archives or to reach my site by outside links produces 404s. I can post to my site, add links, but everything else is screwed up. Is it hacking, a malicious script, a bot attack of some sort? Is it a result of upgrading to 2.6?
    If I know what to call it, I’ll approach my host with it.

    Upgrading to 2.6 has caused a lot of problems for a lot of people – entire categories are missing – and noone at wordpress seems to give a fu** or is doing anything about it.

    You get what you pay for.
