Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Huge postmeta table

  • Hi!

Any Idea why postmeta table is huge (and what to do about it)? It is over 100mb.

Except some static pages the only content is the products.

    Please advice.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards, Niclas

  • Did you try:
Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > Tools tab, then click the two delete transients buttons and the delete orphaned variations button.

Also, try this database utility: (always been good for me but back-up before using)
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-optimize/

    Thanks @lorro

Your first idea only removed a couple of thousand. Still 1 338 055 records (116,7 MB) according to wp optimize after I run it..

Do I have to do some extra settings/choices?

    Thanks!

I’m using Advanced woo search for search and after I reindexed the record is now 1 624 382.

Is it safe to drop the table? 🙂
