Hueman vs Customizr
-
Preface: I am hoping this question will be helpful for others, who I am sure have had similar questions
We are very impressed with both Hueman and Customizr. We’re working on a site that will have many different kinds applications, and because of our templating, the theme will have to be locked in for awhile. So we’re trying to decide where we are better off, long term. Hueman, which is NOT bootstrap-based, but feels more polished out of the box, and customizr, which IS bootstrap-based, and seems much more powerful and flexible, but doesn’t seem to have any ready-made color schemes for even some basic color choices, so we’d have to do a lot of work just to get a modest production site up.
But we are prepared to do that if the advantages of Customizr would outweigh the annoyance factor of building a skin for it. So basically, I have 2 questions for people experience with both:
1) Are there any pre-made colorization schemes (aka stylesheet overrides) for customizer that would jump-start our site (perhaps in the Pro version?), and,
2) Are there other compelling reasons to choose Customizr over Hueman (or vice versa)
I always prefer using platforms like bootstrap for future extensibility and theming, but if there are compelling reasons to go with Hueman, without it, I’d love to hear what they are. Thanks in advance!
