https gzip compression breaks site

    I initially thought this worked with gzip and https. I enabled gzip in htacess and on installing the plugin I got a gzip enabled message at https://checkgzipcompression.com

    However, my site breaks at the point the Hyper Cached code begins on my posts and pages.
    Enable-on-the-fly compression is unticked. Https is set to ‘Build a separated cache’ but I tried the other two options as well.

    I’d be grateful if you could make any suggestions.

    Or you enable gzip in the plugin or you enable gzip at server level. If you enable gzip in hyoer cache, disable the gzip for text/html in the server. Leave the gzip active at server level only for other mime types.
