Hi Yardco,
What error are you getting? Could you perhaps send a screenshot of the error to support@tinypng.com?
We haven’t receive anything in our mail box. Do you still have the http error when uploading images? Note that we also have released a new version since.
Totally forgot about this topic, my bad! Haven’t had an http error in a long time though so it must have been resolved in an update.
That’s totally fine, great to hear it’s working now!
Hi folks,
but i have this error after switching to PHP 7.0.6.
Upload progress bar will stop after some seconds (i think when compression will begin) and “http error” ist displayed.
No thumbnail is shown and after reopen mediathek a broken file is shown.Any idea?
Hi,
I’m sorry the plugin stopped working after you upgraded PHP.
We’ve had similar reports, but are still trying to reproduce the issue in our test environment. Could you send us the output of your PHP info to support@tinypng.com?
You can use the following plugin for this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-php-info/
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
i have just sent php info mail. Please check and let me know if you need any futher infos.
Peter
Hi Peter,
Thanks for sending the php info! We have updated the development version of the plugin that contains a bug fix that possibly resolves your issue as well. Could you give this a try?
To install it:
– uninstall the current version of the plugin
– download the development version from: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/tiny-compress-images.zip
– click “Upload Plugin” on the “Add New” plugin page
– upload the zip file and activate the pluginLet me know if you have any questions and if the plugin is working now.
Hi TinyPNG-Team,
it seems to work now with the development version.
But version info is still 2.02, is this correct?
Regards,
Petersomething new …
In bulk optimization i got the following error with some pics now:
Latest error: Error while parsing response: Syntax error (#4) (HTTP 504/ParseError)
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the feedback! Indeed, the version is not updated in the development version, so it also shows 2.0.2. The fact that it works indicates you installed it correctly, though.
The error during bulk optimization likely is something new. Do you get this error consistently with a particular image? If so, could you send a mail to support@tinypng.com with the image and a screenshot of your plugin settings?
Thanks again for your help!
