• Hello!
    Please help …
I have not been able to access my page (WordPress) or even the site administrator for more than a year.
I had the brilliant idea of doing an UPDATE of the WordPress version and all the plugins without making a copy of the database before. Yes, I know, the worst idea ever…
Since then, both the url of the web and the admin show an error.
    http://madein1980.com/
    http://madein1980.com/wp-login.php
I have tried EVERYTHING! From ftp, rename the plugins and themes folders within wp-content. Change the PHP, enable and disable the boost from the service provider … I don’t know what else to do anymore.
I have managed to have an error log when accessing the web, in case it would help:

Please help me solve this issue because I am already desperate.
Entering the WordPress app on the phone and WordPress.com does not show my website entries, nor the uploaded files, nor plugins … but within the FTP there is all that info within the wp-content.
I am not an expert on the subject and I have limited myself to following all the advice that I have read in forums, but nothing works.
In the worst case, I would be willing to start from zero with my website / blog, and try to recover the entries in some way.

Many thanks in advance to all!

  • Did you disable all themes/plugins?

    https://wordpress.org/support/article/managing-plugins/

It looks like the error is related to the POMO translation plugin. I strongly suggest you to ask your hosting provider if they have a full backup available (files and database). Usually they have.

    Thanks for your response.

I have no access to the WP Admin, so I had to disable all themes and plugins by re-naming their folders into the FTP “wp-content”. No results.
The only change was that when active the page shows HTTP ERROR 500, and when disabled the page is completely white, no error text.
That’s why I managed to have the errors log I pasted in my first message.

My hosting provider is STRATO and the customer service is poor, they only send me basic solutions. I got a backup but its date is after the problem.
Acccessing from the FTP I got all the data, uploaded content, etc but I don’t know what else to change or try.

    It’s desperating… 🙁

Keep trying, usually hosting providers have backups from a month prior. Did you rename those folders to something else not related to WordPress? All I’m getting is a white page

I followed the instructions I found googleing.
Most of them talk about renaming (temporarily) the Plugins and Theme folders to find where the problem could appear.
I also overwrited the Theme folder I was using when I got the problem (Activello) with the last version of the Theme.
    No solution in both cases.

I’m not an expert and I can’t undersand the problem into the de error log.
    Thanks anyway 🙂

What is your PHP version? What was the previous version of your WordPress site?
