HTTP ERROR 500

    When I am trying to install and activate “w3 total cache” plugin I don’t know why the site has been down and show this error

    “HTTP ERROR 500”

    even I am unable to access my WordPress admin dashboard.

    please help

    Rename the .htaccess in your WordPress root folder and try again to access your admin dashboard.

    I have deleted this plugin and then my website running well.
    please give me the solution of this problem:-(

    When you don’t follow the instructions, it is not possible to figure out, what causes the error. You can also try other caching plugins.

    I have no .htaccess file in my WordPress root folder.and, I want to use this plugin
    because this is very nice …..
