    Hi

    Having a number of issues with WooCommerce on this site.

    When I click on the dashboard option I get a blank screen. If I click on Settings I am getting an http 500 error.

    Clicking on Status the System Status reports: “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    Looking in the logs the errors are: 2020-07-26T12:36:30+00:00 CRITICAL Out of memory (allocated 138412032) (tried to allocate 614400 bytes) in /home/sites/jjsonlineescaperoom.com/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1158

    Memory in the wp-config is set to define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘1024M’ );

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey there,

    From the description, it sounds like your site is running out of memory which causes it to throw these 500 errors.

    With that said, WooCommerce system requirements state a minimum memory of 128M:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/

    So with 1024M of memory allocated, you shouldn’t be running out of memory. From here, either something is chewing through that memory or your server isn’t actually letting you have that 1024MB of memory.

    I’d start by checking resource usage on your site. I don’t have a specific recommendation, but these should get you started:
    https://www.wpsolver.com/memory-usage-wordpress-plugins/

    If you’d like to approach this from another angle, disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and see if you still see the same problem. If you don’t, then you know one of the other plugins was using memory. If you do, then I’d expect this to be a server resources question and you may want to reach out to your host.

    I hope that helps you in the right direction!

    Hi there,

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Kind regards,
