HTML5 support

Running WordPress 4.0.1 on our intranet (can’t provide a link), with Trident Lite theme.

This is the best video gallery I’ve been able to find, however, we really need HTML5 support and not Flash. I see it’s supported for mobile devices – any way this can be forced for browsers?
