    Hello,

We have a problem with the translation when there are html tags in the content. Some tags seems to be interpreted by translatePress when it should not. For example:

Il s’agit des balises <b>, <strong>, <em>, <i>, <u>. Voici le rapprochement de leur mise en forme graphique

    Is translated by

These are the <b>, <strong>, , . <u>Here is the reconciliation of their graphic layout :</u>

As shown, the translation have interpreted the <em>, <i> and <u> tags, when it should stay as content. And we can’t edit them. And if we try to write them, then they disapear and are once again interpreted.

The same problem arise with the style and head tag, and probably a lot more.

We tried playing with various options (Fix missing dynamic content, Disable dynamic translation, Fix broken HTML, …) but not matter what, we can’t make those tags to be written in the copy and not interpreted.

Is there a solution about that?

  • Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

I tried replicating this behavior on one of my websites without any luck.

Would you mind opening a ticket here mentioning this conversation so we can have a better look at this?
