  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress 3.0.5

    – increasing the memory available to PHP:

thanks esmi! am trying to go through and try all of these suggestions. tried all the plugins and still nothing 🙁
do you know is it possible to edit the HTML of a post outside of the wp-admin, like on an actual physical page somewhere on the server? I am trying to insert an external form into a page so need access to the HTML 🙁
    cheers!
