I have the same problem. All “=” in the html code is replaced by “=3D”
@opusvista exactly that! Hope they will fix this soon.
Hi @banketbakkerijmastenbroek,
Please go to WooCommerce > Status > System Status, click on Get system report, then click on Copy for support, paste it on https://pastebin.com/ (set a paste expiration for one week, just in case), and finally paste the pastebin.com link in your reply here.
@banketbakkerijmastenbroek and @opusvista,
I tried to reproduce your cases, without success. However, after reviewing your system reports, I have realized that you both have hosted your sites on One.com, so I wonder if this is an issue related with your hosting instead.
Could you please ask your hosting provider if they performed some modification to the web server software recently, sharing with them the details about this issue?
I have been in contact with one.com and after 1 hour they gave the following “answer”:
It seems to be related on the recent changes for send mail for PHP version 8.1. For now they can check this forum for possible solutions: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-email-issue-formatting/
Thanks for sharing the reply from the hosting provider. I need to prepare a staging site with PHP 8.1 to try to replicate this behavior with that PHP version.
However, I also think that configuring a SMTP plugin, like WP Mail SMTP (or another similar plugin), it’s better than using the mail server provided by your hosting.
If you go ahead and configure an SMTP plugin in your site, please, let me know if this fixes this issue! 👍
After waiting all day for more response from one.com, I have now installed https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-smtp/ and it has what i can see solved the problem
Hi @opusvista, I’m glad to hear that you managed to solve it installing an SMTP plugin, as your hosting provider suggested!
@banketbakkerijmastenbroek could you please try also installing and configuring an SMTP plugin to see if your case is solved too?
Hi @banketbakkerijmastenbroek,
Since we haven’t heard back from you in the last two weeks, we’re assuming you solved this issue, so I’ll go ahead and mark this ticket as Resolved.
Feel free to reply to this topic is you still need help with this, or open a new topic if you have any other questions!
