HTML in widget title – possible or not?

  • Is it possible to use HTML in a widget title?

I’m attempting to place images as titles on a site for a client, and the html won’t work.

I don’t want to have to go hack up the widgets.php – is there another way?

  • Edit functions.php

I appreciate the pointer – can you be a little more specific, please?

Exactly what do I need to edit?

    Thanks!

I took a peek inside functions.php and I think I see what you are referring to, but I don’t think that will do what I need.

I want a *different* image for each widget – ie, Navigation, Links, Extras, etc.

I know how to put a default image in and have the title display over it, but I’m wanting to use some special fonts as images.

    Thanks!

I would either make the images and position them using CSS or use a IFR fancy font plugin.
