I am still pretty new at all this and I am much more familiar to html code than css. Is there a way to access the html of the template. All I want to do is get rid of the yellow space in between the slideshow and the box below it. I would know how to get rid of the h3 and br’s but I don’t know how to access it. http://ucsdclubfieldhockey.com/

hey ucsdfh – ? k – umm, if you want to edit a template/theme of a wp site, you should find the code for that theme under themes in the wp-content directory.

you’ll have access this via ftp.

if you don’t have an html editor or ftp, you can get versions of these tools here: http://www.coffeecup.com/freestuff/

also, if you use firefox, download firebug, and use it to inspect your site, and that way you’ll find exactly where you need to edit. if it’s a css edit, you’ll be able to see what line you need to edit.

good luck – i’m not wp expert but since my post was going unnoticed i at least wanted to help someone else out. 🙂
