[Resolved] htaccess modifications cause errors

  • edit – scratch this, seems to be wordpress permalinks related. Somehow started to happen now for me.

    Hi Janneke,

I just installed this plugin and it seems to work well, except it seems to cause modifications to my .htaccess file which clashes with the modifications I already have there, causing 500 internal server errors.

When I remove the new htaccess additions everything works like a charm, but next time I login into my admin dashboard, the changes are back and the site breaks again.

would it be possible to disable the .htaccess modifications somehow (via an option perhaps)?

    cheers,
    mival
