.htaccess is not found

    Hi,
    I have installed the plugin and when I save the settings it shows: “.htaccess was not found”.
    To clarify I have already set the permalinks and I think this may be caused by my local configuration (which follows the security WP policies) having WordPress installed like this:

    WordPress (URL): http://www.my-site.com/wordpress-root (contains all files)
    Sito (URL): http://www.my-site.com

    On the server:
    .
    ├── wordpress-root
    ├── secured-wp-config
    │ └── secured-wp-config.php
    ├── .htaccess
    └── index.php

    Can you kindly help me?

    Can you please share the screenshot of where you see the notification?
    Have you tried manually adding the rules based on your configuration in Performance>Install?
