How to write a post under a specific page

    Hello, i want to write a post and display it under a specific page. I am new with wordpress, and as i understand posts are always dislayed in the main blog page (in my site main page). Pages are used for about us, contact us etc. But i want to use the pages more. My site has menus and drop down menus, all menus are cathegorized. When i write a post i want to display it under a certain cathegory, is it possible? Thanks

    Hi Serverdar,

    Yes it is possible to show posts in pages etc. If you can expand more on the issue, using examples we could be able to help you further.

    Hi,
    Yes and the good news is that you don’t have to do anything else just create your post.
    If you click on the post it will take you to a page with the post.
    Correct me if I understand the things in a wrong way.
    About categories you can have the in your menu and it will display your posts … and also you can customize things starting from here with some php/html coding.

    Ok my site is tekaful.net. There is only one post on my main page and i want it to be displayed in the drop-down menu “TEKAFUL>Tekaful Nedir” (http://tekaful.net/?page_id=148). And i want all my posts to be dispalyed under the menus and submenus (drop down menus)

    I see,
    How did you created your menu? have you just created pages and you are using the build in menu?
    You can also create your own menu and include the categories as drop-down menu with subcategories in child level check this.

    First i created pages and then arranged them from appearence>menus option.

    ok from appearence->menus you can add to the menu categories and you can arrenge them as pages the option is on the left side underneath the pages (this if you don’t use custom post types)
