I would like to use a plugin to generate news from other news sites onto my site. I have never used RSS before and need some help with this.

Go to your WP Dashboard then click Appearances then click Widgets and scroll down to RSS and you can add RSS links from other sites there and they will display on your website. There might be some plugins that can do this for you also.

Just have to look on the site you want a feed of. Here’s various CNN RSS feeds: http://www.cnn.com/services/rss/

Many times an RSS Icon will automatically show on the browser when a site has a feed available.
