How to unsubscribe

    I have decided to close/delete my forum and to unsubscribe to any services associated with it, i.e. the website itself, hosting, wordpress etcetc

    Unfortunately, I have found it difficult to find out who to contact to unsubscribe and how to do it. I found an e-mail some weeks ago and sent a request, but no response, and the website is still up and running.

    Anyone who can guide me on how to do this?

    “delete my forum” — What do you mean by that? Where is your website hosted? Please provide a link to your site! Thanks.

    Hi @siapelan,

    I think the first step you would want to do is to uninstall WordPress from your hosting. You may want to do this via an FTP client like FileZilla or you could take the help of your Web hosting service provider.

    Deleting yourself would probably give you satisfaction that all your data has indeed been erased in case you do had some data that was of value. I say this since if you are planning on shutting down your hosting service itself, WordPress and other files from your account should be erased automatically.

    If the website is not live then any subscriptions from there should not show up. If the Web Hosting has been cancelled you may have to still inform them that you are not interested to receive any mailers from them since that is out of scope of this forum.

    Try contacting them over the phone if email is not working out.
