How to stop endless notifications???

We bought this plugin and like it but the notifications are making us a little crazy. They show up insistently on all admin pages and even when clicking on Hide, it only takes us to some update page but that notice is still back once we move back to the admin pages.

Please, make it stop! 🙂

Is it a bug?
