How to stop comments?

    I went to setting-discussions-Default article settings-Allow people to post comments on new articles
    And unticked that box but I’m still getting comments coming in to be reviewed, so how then are comments requests stoped?

    Have you edited the post that the comments are on to be sure that the Comments box there is unchecked?
