How to sort recent posts by geolocation_postcode

    I need to change the sort order of the recent listings in the recent listings widget. I would like to sort them by the geolocation_postcode. Can that be done?

    @sv1cec if you are sorting by geolocation what is it in relation to, the users location? I have built applications that do this and this is no simple matter, and something really outside the scope of this support.

    For some reason, we want the recent listings to be sorted by geolocation_postcode. Nothing to do with the user location. We just want the listing sorted by post code.

    I do not understand, why it is so difficult, all you need to do is change the query that selects those listings. If it is something which is outside the scope of your support, I’ll change your plugin to use the FacetWP sorting, no big deal, but I was hoping there is a way to do it without resorting to writing my own code.

    I guess WP Job Manager is a use-it-as-it-is-and-don’t-ask-for-more plugins, unless you pay us for a license. Too bad Listify is promoting your product.
