Support » Plugin: WP fancyBox3 » How to show Caption

  • HI, I am having trouble getting the image caption, or alt text for the image, to show up in the lightbox. I would prefer the image caption to display.

How and where do I enter the code? I tried some of the JS from github/fancybox apps, but I broke the lightbox function and had to remove the code.

    Thanks

    Hi, Gotchall!

There is functionality to show image captions in the bottom of opened window.
In the last update was implemented a feature for supporting WordPress Galleries as well.
You should just insert caption in admin area and then they will be used by the plugin.

In your case, I see that your theme(or some plugin) changes common HTML of WP Gallery and it conflicts with my realization.

The image grid plugin I use pushes the caption info into custom data attributes rather than against the are also not displaying for me. The caption is there in the HTML and displays in the image grid, however, this is not displayed in the light box? Is there a way to display these from the code generated by the justified gallery plugin?
